LA PANTOMIME

The Ensemble La Pantomime was primarily created to play music originally composed for two harpsichords, but they began to explore the expressive possibilities of combining the two harpsichords in different settings. The repertoire includes a series of works written specifically for this instrumentation. In addition, Patricia has been adapting other orchestral or chamber works giving a different and unusual sound in concert halls.

Their repertoire includes works by François Couperin, Pergolesi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, as well as transcriptions of instrumental music by different composers such as Georg Muffat, Jean-Philipp Rameau, among others.

La Pantomime aims to throw light on the great masterpieces of musical history while providing perspective by presenting less-known works that are important in the European musical heritage.

The Ensemble La Pantomime was founded in 2012 in The Hague, by harpsichordist

Patricia Robaina and co-founded by harpsichordist Mariano Boglioli.
